Pentwater Service Club cleans up US 31
April 10, 2025
Over 25 garbage bags of litter collected
PENTWATER — Pentwater Service Club members were hard at work, cleaning up litter along US 31 Tuesday, April 8.
The cleanup area covered a stretch of US 31 from Wayne Road to the Pentwater exit on Monroe Road — both northbound and southbound lanes.
Fifteen cub members and other volunteers helped collect over 25 garbage bags of litter.
Prior to participating in the effort, volunteers must review state-required safety guidelines; watch a video; and sign a form verifying their
completion. Wearing yellow safety vests is also required.
This was the first of three highway cleanup outings that will be handled during the spring/summer months.
The Pentwater Service Club has been performing volunteer projects in the community since 1970. As the club motto says, PSC is “Making a Great Place
Even Better.”
